Greenville Chorale: A Pair of Mystical Masterworks

The Greenville Chorale concludes our concert season with our spring concert on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. in the beautiful sanctuary of First Baptist Greenville. Experience the elegance of the classical era with Haydn’s delightful “Little Organ Mass,” showcasing the Chorale alongside a string quartet and renowned organist Charles Tompkins. The program continues with a journey into the contemporary American soundscape with Jake Runestad’s poignant and powerful “The Hope of Loving,” a work that explores the nuances and manifestations of love as expressed through the writings of spiritual mystics throughout history.
